Day 8

It's day 8 and I feel like a different person. Granted I'm exhausted from all the running around with recovery that I'm doing. Basically it's my entire existence right now along with getting my life back on track. The AA meetings are keeping my mind from going to the dark side and also keeping me sober and present. I'm truly grateful for the clarity that God has given me so I didn't drink myself to death. I was ready to give up the fight and I honestly wasn't a God person until that moment of clarity came and I decided to give sobriety a chance again. To really try AA because otherwise the alternative was not a good one.

I just wanted to check in and welcome the newcomers and those struggling out there. Stick with it because it really is so much better than the alternative. Whatever way you can, God or no God, program or no program this disease wants us dead so hang in there and do what works for you to stay sober.

Sounds like you are putting the work in and getting the results!

I'm guessing more work will mean more results!

Awesome!

Thanks guys! I'm done with drinking and drugs. I'm trying to keep myself on the right track and stay in the solution. It's not easy and I'm tired but I know that without the work I will not make it.
