Looking for meetings in my area

I thought I had it bookmarked but can't find it and (eventhough I'm sober) I'm having trouble finding it here.

I'd like to pick up my 30 day chip and start going to meetings again.

Could someone kindly point me in the right direction?

I'm sure we have some Southern California folk here that will point you to a face to face meeting in your own area. Congrats on 30 days! Are you in A.A.? I just loaned out my A.A. Western States Directory the other day to a friend traveling this Summer. Not sure if there is a link online or not but surely someone here will reply soon with pertinent information.

Keep coming back here and save it under your favorites. Good group of folks!

Thanks but not the link I was looking for. It does not list my area.

I live in a fairly large metro and the link I used to have listed at least half a dozen daily meetings here.

Anybody else?

I found an "old" Western States Directory with lots of Groups listed in Riverside, CA. Please feel free to Private Message (PM) me as I have found some contacts for you. I have taken liberty to call a few of the listed trusted servants in that area already. Some of the folks listed were drunk when I spoke with them, others have since moved, but a few remain very active in All Three Legacies of Alcoholics Anonymous. The contacts listed are confidential and with this being a general recovery community I would love to speak privately with you about contacting those listed in Our Western States Directory.

mother of long time herion addicts

I need some one to talk to about my sons both are herion addicts and i keep trying to help them with programs but they keep going back to it, and i try to keep them away from my home but they keep calling and showing up and i kick them out again and they are asking for money again and again i am saying no,,,,I have done the tough love thing hundreds of times and it has not helped or worked, the police are involved and the PO officer is involved and they are no help, please email me at [email protected]

The Nar-Anon board might be your best bet to find some folks able to help in your particular situation.
