That Last Binge was Scary

That last binge was awful and I'm pretty sure it nearly killed me. I drank so much I was dizzy the entire next day, slept through the entire day, only to drink three beers the night before that put me back to that dizzy state. I didn't even see my wife or kid despite sleeping on the couch where we hang out usually.

I lost 5 pounds in less than a week. I was shaking even though I was drinking which is odd. While detoxing now and on the mend, I have drank well over 100 ounces of water and 64 ounces of Gatorade but have only used the bathroom twice.

I have to make this stop this go around. I am going to change my entire life this time. I don't care what it takes. The last week has been a miserable experience and I hope to God I never experience it again.

Good job Justin! I felt the same way 3 days ago and it was a wake up call that I needed! I'm trying to never forget that feeling bc I never want to experience that agin! You can do it!!! Keep drinking water, sleep if possible and distract yourself with funny tv shows or movies.

I wonder what's up with the dizziness. It's not a feeling of being drunk its just extremely disorienting. I never had that a year ago. (hence the progression of alcoholism)

Maybe. It was the first time in my life I was truly terrified of dying.

The worst time for withdraws for me is day 1. Day 2 I feel sick and sweaty but I usually feel 500% better than day 1. I should have enough detox medicine to make it through all day tomorrow though.

Hi Justin. I've had that before too. Like vertigo, or wearing someone else's glasses. It's scary. It's one of the things that brought me here.

SamB, how are you feeling? You're detoxing right? Everything safe?

Yeah for sure. It's 1:20 A.M. on my night 1, and I don't plan on sleeping much.
