Anything I should know before going in?
Anything I should know before going in?
I'm scheduled to do my moral inventory with my therapist this week. She has blocked out two hours for me.
Since my local al-anon is not meeting for whatever reason, I'm kind of treading this on my own with help from my therapist. I just adore her. God really blessed me with her. She is a Buddhist. I draw a great deal of strength from her philosophies.
Anyway, I'm rambling. Anything I should keep in mind?

Hello freetosmile,
I have never done the steps, but I probably take a moral inventory several times a year prior to going to confession.
We typically perform what is known as 'an examination of conscience' that is based on the 10 Commandments.
I don't know if this idea is helpful for you or not, but it might at least be a place to start as you prepare.
Good luck!
