Not feeling very good about things tonight

Feeling lonely, irritable, depressed, hopeless....

A few things set me off today and I've been prayin but still can't shake this feeling. Like I'm a crappy person and that old fear that "nobody likes me" keeps rearing it's head. Just feeling defeated about life.

The snow and roads are so bad that I can't hit a meeting tonight. Thought i would try posting instead.

Sigh.

Salute that girl and congratulate her.

Take a warm and soothing bath. Put on your pjs and snuggle under your covers until you fall gently to sleep while the snow falls outside your window.

Hi M triple R. Ride out the lousy times cuz there's good coming. I give myself a hard time too. Sometimes my head just keeps bringing up the bad stuff, and I'm like wait, I've done some good too geeze! Just tough when we're sober cuz a lot of memories resurface and we don't have the quick fix anymore to help ignore it. Addiction likes when we feel lousy cuz we're easier targets so just try to think of some of the good you've done and ride it out. We're right here with ya!

Glad u posted! I have been struggling too. I have been pretty lonely and depressed as well but it passes. I'm just trying to focus on positive things. I posted about it on here and received a lot of support. I hope you feel better knowing that we are here for you.
