So how long do the headaches normally last after stopping drinking . This is my day 2 and my head is pounding, so far no other issues just a bad headache.

It's difficult too say as we are all effected in various ways from quitting, some are fine and others can go through difficulties, I had headaches too but I found my sinus issues were made worse when I quit, are you drinking enough water? Seems like a silly question but it may be that simple thing helps ease your headaches.

Day 2 and 3 are usually the worst for me.

Welcome 2wheelterror First few days of WD can be like this i started feeling betterish around days 5-7

I think headaches are pretty common. I hope you have a shorter time of it, but mine lasted a couple of weeks.

Make sure you're well hydrated - if it persists and you get concerned about it, a visit to the Dr never hurts

Took me about a week to start feeling normal. This was after 7 days of drinking 24-7. PAWS would also bring headaches from time-to-time.

My headaches were better if I sucked on hard candy. There's a lot of sugar in booze and I was in withdrawal from that.
