Hello all and which class to join?!?
Hello all and which class to join?!?
Morning all,
Not sure which class to join as my sobriety date is the 26th Dec! Dee - what do you think?
This is the third time I've been on the forum. The first two times I was white knuckling tbh and didn't have the resilience or the tools I needed to pull through. This time is different as I've separated from my (also alcoholic) husband, am in AA and I have a sponsor.
Wishing everyone here a sober, serene and awesome 2015.
Hope to chat later in the evening which is my craving time!
Take care all 😆😬😆😬😆😬

I think it's entirely up to you Vicki
You'll find great support in either the December thread or the January one

I have been in many classes If it were me I would join the January class where everyone is new. Then you are going forward with people who have also just quit in the last week or so and are getting to know each other. I know when I was in classes when people had lots more time than me I felt a little despondent at times, as though I were lagging behind. But that's just me.Do what feels right for you.
Or you could join both Welcome back

Vicky I'm not so sure they are classes per-se but groups that share the same quit month and support each other on their journey. I'm guessing you could join any month following quitting. Jump in with both feet! I don't think there are any wrong places to post. If the mods or other members feel you could be helped in a different forum you will get a suggestion or be moved and notified. Sounds like you have a plan and a good one at that. Every hour of your day is accounted for. Congrats on giving up the high cost of low living.
