hello everyone I'm new to this

hi everybody this is my first time on an internet recovery site. I look forward to learning from talking and listening as I've been in AA since my late twenties and I am now 53. I had 11 years sober but drank again in 2000 and have struggled constantly since then creating much more damage:: ruining my credit, becoming a criminal, going to jail, and all the wonderful things that drunkenness and drug behavior produce.

Hi Rob, welcome. I've found SR to be fantastic support, and I'm sure it's helped me stay sober for 2.5 years.

I ruined my career and credit. Woke up jail cells quite a few times. 38 now and still trying to put the pieces back together. Never too late to start over. Welcome to SR

Welcome, Rob, I'm 52, there's lots of people around our age here.

Yep- me too- no career , credit ruined, criminal behaviour !

You' ll find many similar stories to your own and tons of support.
