Missing my A during life event

Just an observation...
I found a new place to live today that is going to be WONDERFUL. It is peaceful, semi-rural, and I can have my pets. My new landlord says my coming there is an "answer to prayer." Let's face it, though, moving is a life change and a little stressful.

At a time like this, I am painfully aware of the absence of my mate. I can't even call him for moral support. I will inform him after the deal is done. I guess I am painfully aware of facing life alone, even though with my good friends here and there and my Higher Power, I am NOT alone.

Thank all of you for your support again. I wish we had more tangible connections that just "cyber," but I am grateful for that!

Boy Howdy! Do I know about major life changes, and facing them alone. It's kinda scary. SR has been my security blanket as well, Eauchiche. In fact I joined the week I moved out.

It sounds like you found a great place. That's fantastic! When's the big move?

I'll probably get the deal tied up this weekend, and can give my current landlord 30 days notice. Thanks for your encouragement!

It sounds like a wonderful place, and you also get to be an answer to a prayer. Yes it can be lonely and challenging, but the aftermath is you feel strong and successful.
