Thinking back to last New Years..
I was 5 months pregnant. We went to a family/friends party where everyone was drinking, except me. I never drank during my pregnancies.
I recall being offered a drink several times, and politely declined and explained I was pregnant (even though I was showing). I also remember being told repeatedly "that one drink would be ok" and thinking these people were crazy.
Those were my so-called friends. So very sad.
This year I sit sober at my house with my husband, two children and count my blessings. I am looking forward to the new year.
