need my night light!

I need a nightlight to sleep at night even though I'm in my 30s. I try to conquer this fear by facing the dark anyway but can't sleep for a long time and when I manage to, I have awful nightmares, mainly of someone breaking into my room or appearing there. Always some creepy stuff. I can't control it. Its not a huge deal as I just sleep with a light on and it chases my dark room nightmares away. I would like to not be giggled at for it so much, though lol.

I have nightlights all over the house, and I'm 63. I don't see well in the dark so have to have at least a little light. The 7 watt night light bulbs give enough light to see where I'm going.

I don't see anything wrong in sleeping with a little light on. The light in my bedroom is a 15 watt bulb in a hanging lamp I made myself. Dim enough to sleep but light enough to see.

I see nothing wrong with that. I sleep with the tv on most of the time.

I can't sleep in a dark room. I think it's natural to be afraid of the dark. A survival skill. We can learn to feel safe in our own homes but there's nothing to be ashamed about liking a dim light in the room.

I have lots of nightmares about intruders. It's a common dream. Still scary but not uncommon.

Love from Lenina

I have night lights too because I'm likely to fall if not.
Don't really care if folks find that amusing

Now I'm the opposite. I sleep a little better when the room is dark. I find I'm a little agitated and restless when the grandkids are over and we leave lights turned on!

I am 38 and I need my night light too! More than that, I can NOT sleep without some type of noise. For years I used a fan, even in the winter. I finally ordered a white noise machine online. I love it.
Who wants to be stuck in the dark, anyway?

After some terrifying dreams recently, the only way I've been able to sleep is with night lights... And prayer! I'm 35.
