Day 3

This is day 3 for me and sleeping is difficult. Very restless. And my body needs to adjust I notice. But other than that, things are going pretty well. Not looking forward to New Year's Eve though, this early in sobriety. Had I been sober for 90 days or so, I would probably not have worried about it. Such a strong temptation this soon into it, I don't know. I'll see.

You could always make very small non alcoholic plans for NYE (I'm going out to an Indian vegetarian restaurant...no alcohol permitted)

or just..stay home?

You'll look back and be glad you made the 'sacrifice', I promise you

You can do it! So many people die of alcohol related deaths on New Years Eve and never get to see the next year. I think the whole thing is over-rated anyway. Always have...even when I was drinking and before I was drinking alcoholicly.

I have over 90 days and I am still nervous about New Year's Eve. I have like 8 different plans for a lot of different situations. I think I am making a bigger deal out of it than I need to. New Year's Eve was my big green flag to get messed up. That was always my plan. Drink until I drop. And I always did. I'm curious to see if anyone gets as sloshed as I used to. So far, in other situations I thought everyone was as drunk as me. So far...I have been wrong.
