Next Step
Hello and welcome.
Congratulations on completing 35 days.
Have you thought of attending AA? A lot of people find it invaluable.
You can come here and read and post all you want. This site has been a life saver for me.
Do whatever it takes to stay sober, and remember you never have to drink again.
Best to you.

Hi, madrec. Reading and posting here is a start. Are you set up for any outpatient substance abuse care? What were the discharge plans that were in place when you left? After 35 days of residential it could be hard to come back to the world and I would need something in place to soothe the transition. Welcome to SR!

Hi.
I’m gratefully sober for a lot of years and suggest attending AA for the long term. Taking advantage of the caring folks that can guide us in ling term sobriety at face to face meetingS.
I say this because the big majority of people won’t stay sober on their own for a lot of reasons, one of which is WORKING the program and easily forgetting how bad things became drinking. One word: miserable.
BE WELL
