A new day starting off right
Well, I drank a bit last night, but I stopped and went to bed when normally I would just continue drinking. I also was up at 6 AM this morning. I've been struggling to get up any earlier than 8 for weeks, hitting the snooze button over and over, dreading getting out of bed. Funny thing is this morning I actually wanted to get up. I'm not really suffering a hangover since I stopped myself last night from drinking enough to cause a bad one.
I'm also already working on slowing down. Normally I would get up, workout, slam a protein shake, then get to work. This morning I just made some coffee, turned on the news and relaxed for a bit before starting anything work-related. It's gonna take some planning to really get myself prioritized so I can get things done while still allowing myself some "me time" but I feel like I'm on the right track.
