I'm New again
but I, over the past year, have quit for months at a time, started back for a few weeks to a few months, and gone back sober. You know what's funny? When I quit, I consider it the best decision I ever made, but when I drink again, I consider it the most frightening choice I could ever make but can't seem to stop.
Know why? Withdrawal. Scares the absolute hell out me! it is the threshold between life and death, and I don't care what anyone says...everyone is afraid of death. The whole purpose of life is survival, and the antithesis is death.
But enough of that... met with my AA sponsor and like him a lot. He calls me everyday and has been sober 30 years. I couldn't have asked for anyone better.
Very human. Very real.

I live a very boring, mundane life in spite of burning passion inside. I wanna live an exciting life but don't know quite know how. The most exciting thing to me right now is my 12 gauge in my closet. Seriously. I'm not Curt K0bain,.
