This is a quick one to give you an insight to who I am..and where I have come from..
Ran away from home at 14 lived in a hippy commune in copenhagen in the &0's. Realized I was gay. Partied like there was no tomorrow alcohol and drugs. Was head hunted by a model scout at 20 in a club to try modelling. Based in Milan for 3 years as a model. This life was fast, exclusive and at times dangerous. I pulled out quit and we t travelling for 6 months in asia ending in Australia.. Here I am now 25 yrs later..

Yes sober I am.. It was one beer thingy.. And now it is boxng day and wont be having even any more.. Ok so it should be day 28 today and I will keep it as 28 days sober as Incertainly did not get a buzz from my one warm vile corona.. The bottles from last night Are strewn all over the place this morning.. A total mess I am up drinking coffee and cleaning.. And its rainning. I think the gang will have manor hangovers today. But not me!!!

Hi SM, what an interesting story, so different from mine, but we both have addictions in common.

As I posted elsewhere, I like my sober Christmases much more than when I ended the day in a stupor.

I'm guessing you're from Sydney, Sydneyman ? Me too... Australia is a hard drinking country so it can be difficult to abstain but it is worth it I think... I'm trying really hard to keep sober over the cristmas period while everone gets rat arsed drinkin goon and bundies..Honestly being the sober one for the first time is actually kinda great
