Unpleasantly normal to feel tired. Our bodies were treated like punching bags so long that now they need to recover.

Well done btw!

Maybe switch to water as it gets later in the day? Does the tea you drink have caffeine?

The body can't repair years of drinking in a matter of weeks, it's gonna take time!!

Hang in there!!

I'm at day 38, and I still feel pretty fatigued, but it's more in spurts now and getting less consistent.

Same with my anxiety. It's getting better. Congrats on your sobriety. It gets better everyday. Just like the members say.

Almost a month sober, and the last 5 or 6 days I have energy I had not had in so long, heck I can't even remember when but the first few weeks I felt good mentally but yes the body was exhausted. Congrats on 10 and here is to a lifetime of more!

Congrats on 10 days Toni - way to go! When I got sober I had heavy fatigue for close to 3 weeks. I started to drink a lot of iced tea when I got sober and know about having to run to the washroom during the night. Cutting back on liquids for at least a couple hours before I went to bed really helped.

Hi Tonib ..

I am day 16 and was super exhausted in the very beginning.. I think I am gaining some energy here and there... I didn't realize how much energy I was expending on my former habit .... Sleep is good . Hang in there and give yourself time to heal...

I'm on day 14, and I also have days of incredible fatigue. For the moment I am resting much, eating much (and well) and taking lots of vitamins, minerals and herbs. Trying to speed up the healing process, but I don't know if it helps.

Some rough days too, dealing with cravings. But overall it's a million times better than before, and that's a powerful motivator to push through moments of crisis.

Stay strong! I am sure it will get better with time!

Day 25. I feel pretty good in the morning but am definitely exhausted by evening. Vitamins and water seem to help. No matter how tired I feel though its better than I ever felt on a hangover day! Keep it up.
