Home from Rehab!

Just spent the last 10 days at an inpatient rehab learning about the tools and resources available to me to stay sober. This was not my first rodeo at a rehab and it was so it was a good refresher for me.

Met some amazing people suffering from this awful disease and I hope they all make it. Sadly the statistics say maybe only 2 of us out of 30 will stay sober.

Glad to be home with my daughter, feather pillow and TiVo! I plan to be more active on SR to help me stay sober and hopefully help others struggling as well.

Hi and welcome back.

The journey on the sobriety path is so uplifting to the mind and emotions. It may not always be smooth but is so much better than our drinking days experiences.

Thanks everyone...glad to be home just in time to spend Christmas with my family. It will be a magical day this year and one that I will be able to remember!

Well done Happy Feet. I'm on my 25th day of a twenty eight day program. 5th hospitalisation in two years but I'm now 24 days sober and ready for change! xx
