Now that ABF had a small slip which we confronted - he has always been honest.
Did any of your loved ones encounter myoclonic jerks when resting? It's not DT or seizure as I had myoclonus after recovery from an eating disorder.
SecondLy, how long does lack of libido last in PAWS? Think a GP visit in order tbh..

Hello Catareta,
Restarting libido is variable. Here is a link to a fairly recent thread on this issue.

My AH has had those myoclonic jerks for 20 years. Every night as he's falling asleep he has the first large jerk and then about 5 min later a little one. The doc said its his brain trying to relax could be caused by anxiety, stress, adhd etc. very common.
catareta.....a possible silver lining to this is that.....if he understands what a job alcohol does to ones sexual performance....it might be a great motivator for him to stay sober....!! LOL!
It has been my experience that few things strike fear to a man's heart than not being able to perform in the bedroom. They seem to fear that more than hair loss, even.

Even though I'm not the AC. What my AGF did as a result of drinking, made me repulsed by her. Assuming she can recover from drinking, I have to recover from the repulsion. Some can, some can't. I couldn't. My desire for her went to zero and it never came back.
Your b/f may be repulsed at himself. Hopefully he won't decide to see if he can get over it by getting someone else under him as soon as possible. No good for you can come out of that and it will start to feed a new demon in him.
