Hi. I'm new
Hi.
I just logged on to this forum for the first time. I went to rehab this summer for the first time, made it to 85 days at which time my husband decided to tell me he wanted a divorce.
Several relapses later, here I am at day 5. I know that I am powerless against alcohol and that I am truly alcoholic and cannot drink.
Many difficulties were created through my drinking in my marriage.
Having difficult with regret and living life on life's terms right now.
Glad to be here.

Like you, I relapsed after a rehab stint. I'm here today because this time I want this for me. I'm doing this without the support of my partner....sounds like you are too, and I'm really sorry you were hit with the awful blow of the "D" word.
Keep reaching out for support. We can do this.

Hi Brynn,
I'm excited about joining. I didn't know that forums like this exist but I'm really glad to have found this one. I am 110% committed to my recovery with or without my husband. I'm sick about the pain that I've caused him and am trying to really get to understand how badly that I hurt him so that I can truly make ammends.

You make it sound like there needs to be a second time. There doesn't.
This website, combined with what you learned in rehab (if you apply it) might be all you need. Stick around. Read and post a lot!
