Geez- seems like my withdrawal symptoms were just delayed a bit

Well it seems like my withdrawal symptoms have begun to peak but at a much later time than last quit. Sucks... head ache, some anxiety, head spinning a bit. But trying to stay hydrated...

Now that I am keeping a journal of sorts, I am writing this down for something handy to have and carry around with me. It is just a pocket size note book... filled with ramblings.

Withdrawal can kick in anytime in the first days.

I had them only slightly for the first 7 days... now it seems like they decided to get a little stronger. Oh well. Time to fight.

You could have caught a bug - our immune system takes a beating.
Hope things improve soon.

I'm not sure it is a bug... feels about the same as my previous withdrawal symptoms. I guess I can look forward to them hopefully getting less noticeable over the next week.

Hang on for a few more days, then if symptoms persist, drop by your doc!

I'm fascinated on how many people go through withdrawals without medical intervention. I was too much of a wuss to do it alone, so I medically detoxed. That said, please see your doctor. He/she may give you some benzos with a taper schedule. The benzos will help with the symptoms and prevent seizures. No need to do this alone.

If you went through the medical intervention, benzos with a taper schedule are the gold standard regardless of history. You should see your Dr for advice. I meant to say previously, there's no need to suffer
