Hey, Patty. Congratulations on making it to day four! I think it's awesome that you're gaining from your past experiences and utilizing them in the present. I believe in your will to succeed!

Congrats on day 4 pattyspaw. Resolve is important, but so is support...do you have any local support you can pull from? Perhaps you could join one of the daily or monthly threads here too?

Make it the last day 4, because a good reliable sobriety truck doesn't have a reverse gear. Keep trucking forward!

Well done to get this far. How are things looking for the weekend? Any temptation there? Can you get some support?

day 5 coming to an end and I didn't drink today; I'm not able to log in during work hours, but I have been learning to plan things that I want, or need, to do sober to help fight my AV

day 6 almost done; I've been really cranky tonight; things that I usually wouldn't let get to me are bugging big time; and AV is using it; i'm projecting too far into the future; hopefully by morning i will be back on track

Stay with it, Pattyspaw!! You're doing so well. And go to bed early if you need to--I do that sometimes!

I know what you mean about thinking too far into the future. I have to really work on slowing down and taking things on faith. I remind myself that yes this moment sucks, but in the long run it's worth it to stay sober, even when I can't fathom how that could possibly be true. That thought has pulled me through many difficult nights.
