If you ever feel alone ...
as if nothing you can do can make a difference,

please remember that you can make the ugly in life beautiful, you can change the unutterably awful, there is always choice. The situations vary: some are presented with war or apocalypse, some are asked to choose the impossible, some must fight their own demons.
In addiction we are not abnormal and apart, we are just another variety of human, another every day human who is called upon to step outside themselves and decide. In life there is choice and as long as we live we have choice.
And those of us who have roosted here at SR are never again alone.
