Everyone is here, we're listening low.
Eat something sweet, drink some tea

Alcohol will not make it better

Lori stay in here and talk. Please don't take a drink. The regret later is so hard to deal with. Is there something stressing you out that talking about might help?

Why? Why do you want to drink now...after 19 months..
What is it you can't deal with...what do you feel you need to escape from?

Are you still here? We are here for you. Take the booze you have and dump in down the sink. Grab a Pepsi and talk.....19 months is amazing and you can get through this.

Try everything else first to be fair to yourself , you've done it for 19 months , how can another hour make a difference

I feel embarrassed on one hand , and the other completely in wonder, that yes, there are people like you, that yes, really care. As corny as it sounds, thank you, from the bottom of my soul. ... I want you all too know, at one time I had 12 years of sobriety, and for 4 years was a counselor... Clearly I relapsed , but these 19 months meant much to me...I cannot thank those that reached out to me. xo xo And f course, was on my way to by booze, you people, whom I dont even know, changed that...and we all know what that means. ,,,,,, Bless you all!

Hi, Low.

Welcome!

Congrats on your remarkable sobriety time!

Do not drink! It's just not worth is. As hard as life can be at the moment, it will be zillion times worse if drinking.

Stick to us. Great support here.

Hi there Low- I think most of us have times when we want to drink or use. That's why it's nice to come here and read. It reminds me of where I've been, and why I got sober. It would seem like the cravings would go away completely after a year or two, but for me, there's still a part of me that wants to "check out" for a bit. So I read a couple threads, take a bath, have a bite, whatever, and it passes. The next morning I'm glad I did. Take care:-)

Don't give in! Whatever you are faced with, drinking will only make it worse! Stay in the fight!
