sad?lonely? using?
my25yo AS is almost a month clean
and in treatment . But everytime he's feeling down, or lonely as he struggles to develop a sober social network, he gets short-tempered and I struggle not to "awfulize" and think he's using. when does waiting for the other shoe to drop end?

I think it takes time for trust to build again. The amount of time varies from relationship to relationship.
There is a lot of support for you here tho - both in this forum and our Family and Friends forums too
