You are deserving....
Please allow me to introduce myself. ( breezin 007 ). I'm a 52 yr. old young man.
I will be 8 yrs. sober as of Feb. 1st 2015. I feel as though I am soo blessed, and
continue to be showered with blessings on a daily basis ( I should be wearing a
shower cap!! . ) I battled this disease for more than 3 decades and today I
am proud to call myself an alcoholic. Because of the pain and suffering I ex-
perienced I never would have been able to " crush " the man I used to be.
It is only by the "Grace of God" and the program of A.A. AND the people who
helped me and loved me when I could not love myself, that I am here today
to share my experience, strength and hope. I came into this program in the
early 90's. but I don't feel I need to tell you what I went through because we
have all been there. Today, I sponsor other men, I have a sponsor and a home
group and I am the "Intergroup rep." for my homegroup and I am plugged into
this program with "Monster Cables". I speak at rehabs in my area on a consistant
basis and am involved in plenty of service work. I do these things out of gratitude
for my sobriety. My sobriety is dependant upon the "daily maintenance" of my
Spiritual condition and a close connection with my " Higher Power" Please for-
give me if this sounds as if I may be rambling, but it has only been comeplete
acceptance and surrender that I have been able to begin to build a new
foundation and continue to become the man I was always meant to be!!!
I wish you all continued blessings and please do not give up before the mir-
icle happens !!!
