Hi, Wgott. We're at about the same length of time in our sobriety. Sometimes it feels harder the further I get into this because I find myself "forgetting" how miserable I was when I drank. A quick jump onto SR and a quick reread of posts, helps. Do you have a sense of why you drank? Sometimes I find thinking about my triggers and making a plan before they hatch can help.

Well.. It's December and I hate the holidays I'm alone most the times. And work and bills stresses me out. I've been doing good and staying busy with workouts and doing art. And for some odd reason I ended up buying a 12 pack of budweiser and cracking open two. I wanted more but I got rid of it quickly.

Last March I made my first serious attempt at sobriety, and I too caved on Day 71. It took me a while to pull it back together and get willing to give it another go, but I'm back with a bit more wisdom (hopefully), a better plan and a deeper commitment. I'm now at 32 days, so I'm proof that you can get through the bad feelings, pick yourself up and move on with your sobriety. Don't give up or wait to get back on track - you can do this.
I would just start over tomorrow and call it day 1.
For many it's part of the process
getting sick and tired of being sick and tired
