You are all miracles
You are all miracles
It's my monthly review time (I just decided this and will make it a habit now). I have been reading my posts from September, including my complacent posts, my woohoo I'm never drinking again posts, followed immediately by a drunken post, lol, my regretful relapse and those first few weeks.
I was straight up nasty!!! And angry!!!! You are all miracles because a lot of you are still here, a lot of you still talk to me, and all of you have gone through very similar mood swings and are so positive and uplifting.
There were some first responders, Dee, SoberWolf, too many to list. And so many others...I would be here all day if I started listing names now.
Thank you.
Thank you for helping me get my life back.
I don't think there is a soul on this earth that can quite understand the insanity of early recovery quite like those that have already walked through it. I really am shocked by my little temper I had just over 2 months ago. I am grateful yet surprised you all still talk to me. Thank you for doing that. ((Hugs))

I know nuudawn, both of you were also first responders if I remember correctly. I think nuudawn told me something along the lines of "never say I'm never going to drink again" and it pissed me off. The next day I relapsed. Lol!
Yeah but Jen knows best right?
I can only laugh.
I'm just going to sit quietly in the back seat now and pay attention.

Good work CG
It's a mutt of a thing this "alcoholism ".
If I can offer some advice. They are getting fewer and further between.... But I still have days when by 10am, I know that the day is going to be a bit of a "write off".
I just keep my mouth shut and think "c'mon midnight!!!! "
And by the time I get out of bed the next morning... It's cleared up remarkably well.
2 months is awesome... Keep on task

Good to see you!! Early days are tough- we look back and it's like we were someone else!
Thanks for coming by and saying how you are- I often wonder about people and it's nice to see positive changes.
