Rehearse Recovery for the Holidays
Rehearse Recovery for the Holidays
It's upon us: The Holiday Season!
Lights, Parties, TEMPTATION!
I'll suggest, for those new to this, to rehearse your reactions to temptations. I've used the technique before to prepare for situations where I need a predetermined outcome.
You go to a party. Someone offers you a drink. What do you say? What if they insist? What if they cajole?
You're gifted a bottle. Usually a really good bottle. What do you do?
Rehearsing your responses to these and other situations is stopping problems before they can happen.
