I like sober aistar!
My ex boyfriend is back. After we had a fight last week ,he just went away with some girl on a romantic trip! I was in hospital with my kidney infection and ...! Yesterday he called me and asked me to meet him for dinner. I said no. I know I wouldn't say no if I had something to drink. Even if I'm not drunk, drinking always influence my judgment and decisions. He asked me if I want to get back together and I said no. He came over..cried and tried to manipulate me like he always did..I looked into his eyes and said :" no, I am a good person and I believe I deserve better. "
I never did that before! I was always afraid of being alone by my own. I couldn't do that if I wasn't sober and I feel good.
Thank you all for being here..for your kind words and sharing your stories .

@FeelingGreat : I know! He is a painter and he smokes weed everyday. That happened before and he was like "we are artists...this kinda things happen...blah blah blah",and unfortunately I took him back every time after having couple of drinks and jumping in bed together!

Terrific stuff! What a bunch of nonsense about "we're artists." I used to be with a guy like that!
I'm an artist too, and surrounded all day, every day, by artists, some of whom are very famous. And many of them are in loving, supportive romantic partnerships. Just because we're artistic doesn't mean we have to abuse ourselves with drugs, alcohol or people.
So proud of you--brava!!!
