Codependent No More
Just reading the book and found it to be very fascination! I found someone who posted some things on this and that is how I stumbled on to this site! I have over a year clean and sober! YAY!
Lisnelac - Welcome to SR and congratulations on a year!!
I'm what they call a double winner - both a recovering addict (RA) and a recovering codependent (codie). I lurked on SR for quite a while, still using, but the people here stayed in my mind.
I finally joined at 6 months clean and sober, and found a "home" with the F&F forums, who talked about Codependent no more so often.
I found out that there are so many forums I "fit" in, I have a TON of support!! I hope you find the same!
Hugs and prayers,
Amy

Welcome and congratulations on a year. That's great. I'm an alcoholic with an alcoholic husband so double winner as well since I wasn't working on my own drinking while worrying about getting my husband to quit. Used to post on family and friends but mostly now work on my own drinking through the newcomers threads.
A lot of support here and I've found that codependent no more helped me in getting and staying sober.
Cheers!
