Day programs in southern nh?

I have tried so many times to quit drinking. I am a professional, presently on a LOA because I am caring for my dying husband. I would like a good day program....where you go a couple hours/day. I think I just need some support other than AA. I just can't seem to do it on my own. Does anyone know a good intensive day treatment program near Manchester nh? I hate to go to a place I know nothing about. Thanks

I'm sorry for the struggles you are going through right now. The best idea is probably to call places and ask them a series of questions.

Good luck with your search.

Perhaps local people at AA meetings could help?

BE WELL

I'm sorry about your husband. That's a lot to deal with! Great advice about asking at AA. Call your doctor for a referral if no one at Aa can help.

As I'm in Vermont and we are both small states, what I think may work best is to get on to the Department of Health and Human Services site and navigate to Drug and Alcohol and then on to Treatment. I attached what I could find. I found having an individual counselor was also really helpful! You are spot on for thinking to take care of yourself too! Hope to see you posting again on SR
