New to Sober Recovery
Hi everyone, I just found this site, it seems to be awesome. Oct. 15, 2014. I went to rehab and have been home for two weeks. I was wondering if anyone felt as horrible as I do? I still have the sweats, nausea, shakes, jumpy, very weak. I figured I would get better, but I feel worse everyday. I went to the hospital because I felt so bad and they ran a lot of tests and everything is fine.
Confused.

so many variables, length of time drinking, age, health..... 1 month is not a long time, so keep moving forward!!
It will get better, just give your body a chance to heal! give time time
are you doing any method for staying stopped? rational recovery, avrt, life ring, sos, women for sobriety, aa?

welcome to the forum, glad you found us. Yes, it is a great place.
As for how you are feeling right now, I'd say there are a good number of folks here will say they felt exactly like that. Just don't let these feelings deter you from moving forward. It does and WILL get better as you progress. Even after a few months I was having some unsettling feelings. Just stick with it.
You'll start feeling better soon and better every day.

Addicted to drugs
I first was o Percocet, Soma and Clonazapham. Pain Dr. Put me on Suboxone. I need my knee replaced, so I had to go off the Suboxone. That took 7 Months. It was awful. My Dr. Put me back on Percocet, Soma and Clonazapham to help me through it. Needless to say I was addicted again. Went to rehab because I was tired of doing it on my own. I have been on drugs for 17 years.
Hi Tina
I have no experience with those drugs but I gather from reading here, and our substance abuse forum, that it can take a while to feel better.
