Thumbs up TOPIC: Admitting Our Wrongs. Forgive Me, I Sinned.

In Recovery we learn to promptly admit
our wrongs. Wrongs against people, places,
even things. For me, today I promptly
admit.......

I ate a delicious blueberry donut. lol

Then, while picking up pine needles
along my fence, I aggravated the dogs
barking on the other side of the fence.

And.....Laughed because it was funny.

Shame on me.

Of course, those are 2 small actions I did
that I took delight in, but not big enough
or bad enough that I would need to go to
confession for. But, I will ask for forgiveness
for my shananigans and try to the best of
my ability to not aggravate the dogs next
door. lol

Then, I do remember many things Ive
done before, during and after recovery
to be ashamed of and have made my
amends accordingly or done an inventory
of them and ask for forgiveness so that
I wont do them again.

Of course, im not a saint nor perfect,
but I try to be as honest as I have
learned how in recovery so that I can
avoid situations that would make me
lie, steal, cheat, and other sins to keep
me sick.

Have you promptly admitted your wrongs?

Thanks Tom....lol You should have
seen yesterday when I was out in my
front yard trimming the hedges by
myself, when a little doggie came
running up to me barkin up a storm. lol

I was holding my little clippers and was
trying to talk to him and pet him and
the louder he barked like as if I was
trying to hit him.

Never would I hurt him or any other pet,
so I layed my clippers down and got him
to lay and roll while still barking. I honestly
kept looking around to make sure no one
would think I was harming him because I
wasn't.

Then, he walked away and never heard
another peep from him.

I do believe he belongs to my neighbor's
neighbor who is her mom. So its all in
the family with barking dawgs I can
aggravate...lol
