Ok! It's happening!!! Im convincing myself I can moderate my drinking! Telling myself this time I'll keep it under control.
What the hell, I've just spent an hour encouraging all of you, and was feeling confident, then BAM out of nowhere. Actually not out of nowhere, someone I love kinda playing emotional mind games with me.

Seriously though, do you think it will be very enjoyable to struggle with this 'control' as you drink? I mean, just fighting the urge to have another would pretty much kill any enjoyment I would assume. I know it would for me.

I think like Dee said you should give recovery a chance AND (not being selfish at all) ;-P keep that good advice coming here at SR. We need you as much as you need us.

Hang N there. Day 2 my mind was a mess. And for that advice giver. Try to stick to people like us who understand this disease. We can't expect normies to understand

You can do this. I know you want it or you wouldn't be at a recovery site. You're AV is mad right now and trying all he can to get back control.

Moderation is the myth and fairytale that needed to be shot down for me to be able to achieve Sobriety!!

It didn't work for years and it wouldn't work now!!
