Never in a million years would i have expected to go 1 month without the booze.
I feel so much better, my face, skin and body are looking so much more healthy and my general well-being has sky rocketed.
I have lost 8kg in weight, and the weight seems to just be falling off lately. My goal weight is 76kg, so I am just around the corner. (81kg)
Over the month, I have managed to repay debts, find a job and start to rebuild relationships in which i nearly destroyed during my long stint on the booze. Not to mention I now have a pocket full of cash!
I have not been involved with AA or any form of counseling, so I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone at SR for sharing their posts and assisting with mine. I think of you guys as family.

Wow, well done...it is a great support here on SR...it keeps it very real when you read the
desperation of those trying to get foot hold towards sobriety to those that are celebrating
the rewards and the milestones of sobriety.....congratulations on a month.

Hi Dickysix well done on reaching a month this was my i can and will do this moment
ive only reached 1 month sober once ....and on wednsday i turn 500 days sober (16.5 mnths)
