Could go for some scotch...

Been a long tough week at work, new baby keeping me up at night and just end of week tiredness. Would love a nice glass of Macallan tonight. Wish I was normal enough to have a glass and not finish the bottle so I won't be having anything but water tonight. I'm also at 4+ weeks and don't want to lose that.

But man I miss the time when I had control.

What about thinking of other ways to relax instead MF?

a nuce long bath, a massage, meditation, some exercise, a funny movie, your favourite meal...

the only limit is your imagination really, man

Just got off a night-shift and had the same thought half way through the night. Would occasionally just buy a little 5cl bottle from the local offies when i fancies one. Ofc i would also have bought a crate of beer to go with it :P

Jay and Mighty Flea, coming off a shift is a classic time for craving because you associate drinking with relaxation. I set up alternative relaxation rituals, in my case a teapot and some nice tea, and really, it worked fine.
