Are there any members around the Brisbane area who can recommend Groups or counselling for alcohol addiction? Not AA thanks.

SMART Recovery is a secular approach
The SMART Approach | SMART Recovery Australia

They apparently have meetings at Annerley (and Beenleigh).

LifeRing is another secular approach
LifeRing - LifeRing

but as far as I know there are no face to face meetings in Qld.
Both Smart and LifeRing have online meeting options tho.

Thanks Dee. I've searched the website but I can't find any online groups. However, I have found a psychologist who specialises in Drug and Alcohol counselling........very expensive though - even with Medicare paying part for the first 10 visits! Maybe some one might have some other ideas'
