Strange
Strange
Hi guys,
I,m still here and still hangin in there. working on day 4 today.
yesterday wasn't so great but I made it thru. felt kinda down most of the day. It's strange though. I'm used to being somewhat of a loner (not caring to be around many people), and then yesterday i really craved companionship and felt really lonely.

Congratulations! Hope you are feeling better today. Trust me it will get better, I think the first 3 days were always the hardest for me, I would say just one more time will help ease the pain, but there is never just one more time. The mental withdrawal sometimes outweighed the physical. Stay strong you are never alone.
Hey Jeff, I just got caught in a time warp! I replied to your earlier post, not seeing this one.
Day 4!!! Big congradulations!
Laurie sez....
Yep. That is the worst. I had mental cravings long after physical ones died down.
And again, like Laurie sez, you are not alone.
Please keep posting, and going to those AA meetings!

Hi Joe
Congratulations on day 4
Funny how when our feelings are not numb with alcohol that we start to feel our feelings.
Like the others said, just know that you are not alone and we are here for you.
