Just a thought.

If someone asked me what my favorite season was, it would be summer. It's all warm and that, duh!?

It's coming to winter here. The leaves are almost all gone from the trees and the branches are starting to brittle and look redundant.

The frost will be here soon and scorch the earth 'till pretty much nothing will look alive. The earth will be hard under foot, you wouldn't think anything could grow. And it doesn't.

The trees don't seem to care about it though, you know? They lose everything. They are a sad contradiction as to what they were in the summer but they don't care. They have nothing.

Spring arrives though, it always arrives, not that the trees knew it would you know?

I guess it gives me hope looking at the natural order of things, we can lose it all but there's always a future and we can get better.

Spring is my favorite season, cause it's the season of rebirth. I love it when things start to get green. The trees look electric in their new leaves.

Hi Jim ,
I was down in the west country this weekend . the clear clean air and the smell of woodsmoke was nice . I walked along the coast a bit and found some fossils 7 ammonites million's of years old .
It was good to get out into the outdoors , hear the sea , hunt the beach .. come back in with cold hands and drink coffee ..
2 dead crabs , 1 dead fish , 1 50L bucket , clams and mussel shells , winkles ,

All part off the ebb and flow of life …

Take it easy , bestwishes, m

Just another thought.

The person who must always be in control and autonomous will not be able to access healing and transformation. If you can not submit, you can not die, and if you can not die you can not get reborn

Archetype of Initiation by Robert Moore.

I guess what I meant here is that it's natural to lose things. We will grow new relationships, new careers and a new life.

First day of rehab tomorrow. Doing well. Peace to you.
