Was going to drink... But thought of ya'll!!
I'm new here, on day 6.
I really wanted to drink tonight.. Was sooooo close.
I kept thinking of ya'll and all the supportive people, struggling people, and successful people I've met here in the last week.
It was another good reason for me not to drink.

Sure 
Not wanting to let people down was a big factor for me initially, then it became inspiring to read what other people went through and still stayed sober.

Hi and congratulations.
Use whatever works for you. I learned that I was getting sober for myself and that became the #1 goal.
The bottom line is we just don’t drink one day at a time in a row. There is far more to it than that but that is an excellent start.
