Maybe it's Time for rehab

That pretty much sums it up.

Can't stop screwing up.

Wish I was dead.

I'd rather see you in rehab than enduring months or years more of this mrrryah?

Mrrryah, is anyone with you? Is your fiancé in town?

I saw in another of your threads that you relapsed last night. Are you drinking or using now?

You have been struggling for a long time. I agree that rehab might be a very good choice; something has to change in your program to help you achieve sustained sobriety.

Mrrryah ~ If you are able to go to rehab love, I just know it will help you.
Many of us have felt this way...it is such a painful place to be.

Sending you love girl,

You know exactly what you need to do. Our wisdom is always inside us.

I've followed your posts in these last weeks. Save yourself. No one else can. You are worth saving! I have the impression that you are bright, kind, and super-lost right now. I send you the wish that you take whatever road is necessary to reach your best self. Any means necessary!

This is life and death. You are all that matters right now.

Rehab just might be what you need. A safe environment to learn to live sober.

My fiancé is in town.

Ugh I'm so scared.

My boss quit today so I would be screwing over my employer in a real bad way if I left right now.

But something has to change big time. I can't keep this up.

Your boss quit ? And if you left you'd be screwing over your employer? Did your boss work for the same person?

Mrrrryah, you have had periods of sobriety. Rehab will take you out of circulation for a short period of time. You may learn something or it will be a vacation from reality for a spell. Then you will turned loose and instructed to attend aa. You will @gain be at the mercy of your own ability to stick to a program of abstinence. Knowing what you know, do you think rehab will make a difference or are you saying this thinking it's what we want to hear? I feel for you. But throwing that out there for the cheerleaders sounds like a cop out to me. I sincerely hope I'm wrong.it just comes across as an around end excuse.
If you go to rehab, make it count and work on a solid plan to bring home. If you go 60 days and relapse again then rehab will be for naught. Wanting to be sober and stay sober will do more than any rehab can do alone. Wishing the best for you.

I hope you do whatever it takes to get sober.

The cycle of trying and failing is so damaging physically, mentally and spiritually.

Hugs and Prayers.

You can stop messing up.

You just have to make the decision.

The decision hasn't been made yet.

How much are you willing to lose?

(((Mrrryah)))

I am always rooting for you in my little corner over here across this vast internet.

You made it 11 days and to me that is impressive. You obviously have what it takes to get sober.

I know how you feel right now and I know how awful it is; But, you are not alone.

I won't say you shouldn't go to rehab as it can't hurt, but what about one-on-one therapy once a week with a professional in the substance abuse field? I think you got some major issues that need to be worked out before you can make your sobriety stick. Don't we all?

Don't worry about your boss quitting and inadvertently "srewing over" their replacement by taking a leave to focus on your sobriety. Your sobriety should always be your number one priority. After all, what good are we to those around us if we are falling down drunk or worse dead?

You are important and people care about you; Its evident in your contributions to SR.

Entering rehab was a HUGE relief for me. I was broken in every way that a human being can be broken, and I had no place else to go. I put myself into it fully since, well, that's usually what I do when I'm sober, whether or not I like what I'm doing. Good for the soul and all that. Plus, what else was I going to do?

It gave me separation from my crazy and destructive fantasy life, and I was virtually obligation-free for twenty eight days. I was still broken when I left, so I continued to take care of myself, believing that once I get back on my feet I'd resume my drinking. Didn't work out that way.

So, for me, rehab was a blessing, a genuine gift that turned out to be the beginning of a new and better life.
