Police Road Block
Yesterday, about 4 in the afternoon I drove into a roadside sobriety check.
The officer leaned into my vehicle to take a sniff and look around.
He asked to see my license, then gave it back and told me to have a nice day.
Tomorrow I will have 28 days sober.
4 weeks....wow!

Very nice hooped. Situations like this are good reminders of the benefits of sobriety.
I was stopped at a sobriety check point years ago. At the time I was only a sporadic binge drinker, so I was stone sober. The officer did the same thing; he leaned in to see if he smelled alcohol--which he didn't--then he checked my license and said have a nice night. I remember feeling a little bad for the handful of cars that were pulled over to the side of the road, as I knew what their immediate future would entail.

Awesome! I was pulled over the other day as I hadn't put my registration sticker on my license plate. I did get butterflies when I saw the blue lights but it was a positive interaction. Congratulations on your sober time...that is wonderful!!!!!!!!
congrats on 4 weeks hooped! It's a whole new mindset when that happens. Same for me a couple months ago. I was so cocky pulling up (inside my head), I asked how's business tonight?
Keep it going. And remember, this is the way it's s'posed to be.
