Day 12 in Tejas - Thank You !!
Hi all,
Day 12 in this new life. Sooooo grateful that the "switch" in my brain went fully ON 11 days ago. Was some divine intervention for sure, as I'd been in that same hungover, desperate situation on that Saturday morning so many times over the 9 years of "controlled drinking", and could muster no human power to stop the madness. Went to 4th AA meeting in a row at noon - amazing indeed. Thank you again to my SR family - it's reading your threads starting Day 1 that also eventually got me back to walking into my 1st AA mtg in about 15 or so years. I know I must remain vigilent if I have any shot of maintaining this sobriety. God Bless you all. Peace-out, MJM
