Codeine addiction!!

hopefully I came to the right support network!
Gosh I really don't know where to start... I'm from the uk, and my doctor prescribed me codeine, then when I became addicted he put me onto tramadol! .. he wouldn't help me taper down from the trammies and only have me enough for one a day when I was on 9-10 a day! tramadol is evil to say the least.. Withdrawal is the worst on this for me.
So I went and purchased some legally from an online doctor, but the drug was made a control substance in June this year and so they put me on codeine!
This had all be lasting for three years... I have 2 children, and have found out I'm pregnant again, and so I'm tapering finally from the codeine. I put my trust in a new local doctor and she has been great with me
I'm down to four 30mg a day, and yesterday my body adjusted to the dose.
I'm really worried what will happen next week when I go down to 3 a day! :/

last night for some reason I woke up with dripping in sweat.
I hadn't had this for a couple of days, so why when my body had adjusted?
I forgot to add that I'm currently on Lustral (sertraline) for depression to get me the ought this. But because I suffer with depression anyway, I'll most probably stay on the AD

I think if your new Dr is great you should trust her judgement, at least until you have reason not to, Sapphire?

I do trust her, I think, I was worried how she would react about me having children.
You here so much of kids being taken away, from parents who are addicted. I think this was my main fear in putting anymore trust into doctors.
I had no reason to think that she may involve any children's services, I've never had any involvement with them and don't feel that I need them.
But I was incredibly worried.. I think it's the effects of the codeine lol.
I've noticed that I my mind becomes irrational and I worry about things I shouldn't worry about, if that makes sense? .. I have a little headache today.. I've spread the tablets out into smaller doses throughout the day, so my body never gets that "high feeling" I think that's what it craves more. X

I can't give you an iron clad guarantee but I've seen lots of British mums here for codeine issues and none of them had their kids taken away, Sapphire
