Checking in, saying hi.
Reached tentatively back in the closet today for the "aspiration jeans." You know, the ones you aspire to fit into without feeling like you're wrapped in a boa constrictor. Not even tight!!! Take that AV. It's amazing the goals you can reach without a bottle in your hand. Or a wine glass, in my case.
Still here, still sober, still so very, very grateful for my SR community.
Coming up on 4 months. This one was L O N G. Life was mean. Didn't knock me down, out or over this time, though. And, as I am learning, nothing is as bad as it seems if you just sit back, take a breath and handle one thing at a time.
I miss this place- I haven't been here much this week, and I'm hoping to spend some time and get to know some newbies and say hi to my friends- give some support if I can and take some, of course!
