Love Yourself Like Your Life Depends On It
Love Yourself Like Your Life Depends On It
Love Yourself Like Your Life Depends On It - Kindle edition by Kamal Ravikant. Religion & Spirituality Kindle eBooks @ Amazon.com. (kindle version)
I found this online yesterday in a free .pdf version, but the link is not working today. However, I do have the .pdf scanned & I'd be happy to share if anyone feels comfortable pm'ing me with your email address.
I breezed through this - it's really more of a booklet than a self-help book (only 30 pgs) & it isn't presenting any completely NEW ideas, but it's worth a read IMO.
It's a great, simple reminder to put your own oxygen mask on first when it comes to creating love in your own life & how it's something you have to actively practice everyday until it becomes rote. (He uses the simple mantra, "I Love Myself")
I found myself nodding along when I read, "I'd been disgusted with myself - I could love another and wish them well, but what about ME?" Really - why IS it so difficult to value ourselves as worthy of love?
I personally think that loving yourself leads to stronger trust in yourself which in turn strengthens your gut instincts, making it easier to hear & believe the signs they show us day in & day out.
