Update!
Hey Everyone!
For anyone who's been following my posts and to the newcomers that read this, as I type I'm about 18 1/2 days sober now and there's no looking back. I'm starting to feel really good physically and emotionally. Ive been on a hunting trip with 3 other guys who have been drinking quite hard in the evenings and I've been with them every night except one (I had to get outta there). Its actually been easier then I thought it would be. I think that's because I've truly made up my mind that I just don't want or need the $&@? alcohol has caused me over the years to continue any longer. Im really starting to feel strong about being sober even though I think of booze an awful lot. The support that comes from SR has been outstanding. I thank you all!
For those who have been curious about the hunt itself, I havnt released an arrow yet...sittin tight. Still have 3 or 4 days to go. Lots of animals but I keep passin up. One of the guys shot a nice 4x4 the other day and another shot a little spiker today. see what tomorow brings! Take care y'all.

Great job Coffee!! I too just had my first sober pheasant hunting trip this year. I had plenty of alcohol free beverages and candy bars along. In past years, the evenings were filled with tons of booze so I know what you are going through. Stay strong and you'll be fine. Good luck with the hunt!!
