I missed you guys, I've been out for 6 more months and reading through my last post in May, made me realize I don't need to change my screen name I just have to be honest and listen to your advice and I'll start from there!! For now!!
Thank you for the advice and encouragement back then I hadn't read most of it till now, and you really don't know how much it means!!today!!

Nice to meet you Skotyb have you considered long term rehab ? your starting day 1 for the hundreth time

Don't be too discouraged by 100 Day 1s - they are not an indication of pending or sure failure; I had 1,000 (literally) Day 1s - many, if not all, consecutive (not recommending it) with one Day 4; but finally it stuck. Never, ever, ever give up. Sobriety is worth every ounce of the effort and every second of the time put into achieving it.

Welcome Skotyb! Your title hooked me. The thing I miss about meetings is saying that in the presence of others. It is a reminder that I cannot drink. I've been doing mostly SR for support-will have to work it into some posts occasionally. Thanks for the reminder and congrats on putting the plug in the jug!

To answer a few questions... I don't really have a plan, I know I can't have the first drink
I know I need to drive home a different way, for now I need to only hang out with my none drinking friends.. Lol which is zero
I know I need to use this site more and to post when I start to battle the av whenever it occurs!! I know i CANT HAVE that first drink!!!
I would love to try long term rehab, but my job won't allow an extended vacay!! It's been 2-3 years where I haven't had more than 2-3 day off in a row!!
But that is how I built my business up and got it to where it is!!
Maybe there's a rehab where they let u go to work but than report back in after !!
I don't know will have to do some research!!
I do know I'm a lot worse than the last time and the shakes are becoming more noticeable even the next day and people are commenting !! So I need I want this !!
