Day 7 - thank you :)
Day 7 - thank you :)
Made it thanks to you all. Didn't talk to hubby, didn't have the energy. Went to bed at 8.15pm! Sometimes going to bed early helps lol.
So here we are on day 7, still bumping into everything and going into rooms and forgetting what I was there for, but still sober! Would have been gutted this morning if I was back to day 1 again.
You guys are amazing

I'm glad that you got some sleep and feel better. Woohoo bring on Day 8!
I didn't realize the challenges both you and hubby face every day with your son, i hope that school helps to develop some daily living skills for him.
Longterm you are doing the best possible thing by changing your coping skills.

Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This was the post I was waiting to see!
And I know what you are going through witth an autistic child. My son has Asperger's. He is 19 now and has progressed so much but still needs help. I know what it is like to have to be on duty 24/7. He didn't sleep through the night until he was 10 yrs old, years spent taking him to therapies, specialists, battling with the schools etc.....
Hopefully, you can get some more respite. Huge congrats on 7 days!
